I can't write metal. I wish I could. I love metal. Doom, black, death, all sorts of metals. But I am ultimately a soft boy. So, the THRASH EP series has its genesis in this idea: What if indie garage rock revival acts from the early 00's wrote metal? As best as they can assume, at least. I just want to fuckin shred and wail and scream and cope with things the best I can. I have so many feelings, all the time, and they aren't well articulated here. I am writing this with a fever. I recorded these with a fever too! That's a neat through line.
